Progressive Jewish youth winter camp Choref brought together young people from across the country for four days of singing, playing, learning and laughing.
The RSY‑Netzer camp provided a unique environment for chanichimot (participants) of all ages to connect, explore their Progressive Jewish identity, and share experiences with friends old and new.
Programming at Choref is tailored to each age group, ensuring all participants get the most out of the experience while building one larger, shared kehila (community).
Highlights this year included an Alice in Wonderland-themed mega-kef (fun immersive experience), on-site adventure activities, creative learning sessions, and a magical New Year’s celebration.
RSY‑Netzer Movement Worker Katie Freedman said: “We had the best time ever on Choref. The chanichimot threw themselves into every activity. The energy, creativity and sense of community throughout the camp was just amazing – we can’t wait to continue the kef (fun) on camp this summer.”
