Rabbi Charley Baginsky at No10

Rabbi Charley Baginsky, Co-Lead of the Movement for Progressive Judaism, attended a key event for Inter Faith Week, held inside 10 Downing Street.

Rabbi Charley used the opportunity to speak to Ministers and civic leaders about the need to properly support the work faith communities already do to strengthen social cohesion.

She argued that Britain does not need an ‘Interfaith 2.0’, but investment in the existing relationships, programmes and community spaces that help people understand one another.

Rabbi Charley said: “Interfaith engagement is skilled and ongoing, and Government backing is essential to sustaining it during a tense and challenging time.”
