Bromley Reform Synagogue welcomed visitors from the Jewish community and beyond to its L’Chaim Art Exhibition, which has held to celebrate both its own year-long programme of cultural events and Jewish Culture Month.
Ashley Goldman, who led the team behind the exhibition, said: “I never imagined that we would be able to showcase such a huge range of emerging and experienced artists together in one exhibition. I’ve really enjoyed having the opportunity to highlight so much wonderful talent.”
L’Chaim welcomed visitors on weekdays and Shabbatot in June, including an array of local councillors and mayors at a special civic Shabbat service.
One visitor said: “I was blown away by the high quality of art works and the way they were curated.”
Another added: “The exhibition is stunning. It is brilliantly hung, the works of art are plentiful and varied and of a remarkably high standard, and the experience of visiting it is a joy. The gold curtain is a fine foil for present exhibits and future performances.”
