Menorah Synagogue’s performance of the Agatha Christie play Appointment with Death enjoyed a five-night sell-out run.
The Menorah Arts and Drama (MAD) production saw the audience transported to a bygone age in Jerusalem and Petra, under the spell of the actors and the assured direction of Meir Vardi, with the energising stewardship of producer Francine Mitchell.
Now in its fifteenth year, MAD continues to demonstrate its commitment to inclusivity and community spirit.
Francine said, “With a cast of 15, the largest in its history, and a production team of 17, the scale of the undertaking was impressive. Participants came from six synagogues – Progressive and Orthodox – as well as the wider Friends of Menorah community, creating not only a successful show but also new bonds and friendships.”
