Members of Menorah Synagogue joined with Hale and Bowdon Synagogue and the local Muslim, Christian, Unitarian, Sikh, Hindu and Bahá’í communities for Altrincham Interfaith Group’s annual tea, hosted by Blessed Thomas Holford Catholic College in Altrincham.
Menorah member Ann Angel, who chairs Altrincham Interfaith Group, said: “This was an inspiring afternoon, giving everyone energy to continue working together for unity across Trafford.”
Rabbi Fabian Sborovsky, who led a prayer on behalf of the Jewish community at the event, added: “It was lovely to see people from different faiths come together and hear about all the positive work in Greater Manchester strengthening community cohesion with children, young people and the homeless.”
